Rosmalen 2009


Rosmalen is the biggest fair for fifties and sixties goodies in Europe.
The proper name is Rock around the Jukebox, and as the name says, there are a lot of jukeboxes for sale. Our good friend Peter Hoebert has a stand with a few of his bingo's at the fair for years and this year he asked us to help him in this weekend in November. So we helped him out with five nice different machines.
The logistic problem is always the biggest problem to solve, but when the five bingo's were build we could play all day long. All bingo's played well without any problem during the two days, just as we are used to.
It's clear that the younger generation does not have a clue what a bingo is. They shoot one ball and search for the flipperbuttons on the site of the cabinet. But of course in vain and after that they start pressing all buttons of the front bar. No, youth does not know a thing of Bally Bingo's.
Anyway it was obvious that most attention was for the Gay Time and when we showed the possibillities of the Magic Pockets people was really surprised and did not ask for the flippers anymore.
